Resolution No. 08-NQ/HU, dated April 16, 2021 of the District Party Committee on tourism development for the period 2021 - 2026, with a vision to 2030, has identified the need to focus on effectively exploiting tourism types such as: Resort and entertainment tourism; cultural and spiritual tourism; eco-tourism, scenic spots; traditional craft village tourism. Accordingly, the district has done a good job of preserving and promoting the values and unique features of a number of festivals, traditional rituals, legends of the Hung King period, cultural features, cuisine ... associated with typical relics and cultural sites, exploiting and building unique cultural tourism products, forming cultural tourism spots for visitors to visit and experience. At the same time, the district focuses on exploiting spiritual tourism products well. Currently, Lang Suong Temple is a destination in tourist tours, attracting many groups to visit.

The work of propaganda, promotion, cooperation in promoting and developing the market has been promoted, with many innovations, contributing to building the image of Thanh Thuy tourism. Comrade Vu Duc Kien - Head of the District Department of Culture and Information said: "The district has effectively maintained the operation of the website Dulichthanhthuy.vn, the electronic information portal, social networking sites, and coordinated with tourism service businesses to organize communication about Thanh Thuy tourism, creating a strong spread in the community. The department has also coordinated with agencies and units to organize training courses on professional skills in editing, taking photos, filming, and making videos to introduce and promote Thanh Thuy tourism for members of the Editorial Board of communes and towns; officers and employees performing communication work of tourism and service businesses in the district".

Over the years, the district has always encouraged and supported businesses to invest in building high-end resort and health care tourism products based on exploiting rare hot mineral water resources combined with creating ecological landscapes. High-quality tourism products, associated with building the district's tourism brand, have attracted the attention and investment of many businesses. Currently, in the district, there are many units exploiting resort tourism, entertainment, and eco-tourism services operating effectively: Ngoc Xanh Island Tourist Area, Vuon Vua Resort & Villas, Bamboo Resort, Tre Nguon Resort, Thanh Lam Resort, Thanh Thuy Resort, Song Da Ecological Garden House, Wyndham Thanh Thuy Resort.

The district also focuses on calling on large, branded enterprises to invest in high-end entertainment areas and develop eco-tourism in the area to diversify and increase the attractiveness of tourism products. To speed up the implementation of projects and attract businesses to invest in the area, the district has actively promoted and mobilized people to comply with the province's investment policy, focused resources to speed up site clearance, and put projects into operation on schedule. The tourism economy has made important contributions to the economic development of the district in particular and Phu Tho province in general, contributing to the economic restructuring towards reducing the proportion of agriculture, forestry and fishery, and increasing trade and services.

In 2023, Thanh Thuy welcomed about 680,000 visitors for sightseeing and relaxation, of which the number of guests staying was about 250,000, revenue from tourism and services reached about 520 billion VND. In the district, there are 46 accommodation establishments with nearly 3,500 rooms, the labor force in the service industry is 17,300 people, the labor structure in the service sector accounts for 35%. It is estimated that in the first 6 months of 2024, Thanh Thuy welcomed about 540,000 tourists for sightseeing and relaxation, with total revenue of about 390 billion VND.

In the coming time, Thanh Thuy district will continue to synchronously implement tourism development solutions, focusing on concentrating resources, creating favorable conditions and environments, attracting investors to implement large projects and key tourism projects in the area. The district is interested in directing investment in facilities, building technical infrastructure in a synchronous manner to promote tourism and service development, while promoting propaganda, promoting potentials, strengths, cooperation to promote and link tourism market development, stimulating development, diversifying tourism types and typical tourism products of Thanh Thuy.
