"Being both a teacher and a school administrator, I regularly interact with students. When they enter grade 12, I care even more. It's natural to remember each student's face after so many years of being together. Every exam, I arrive early. Only when I see enough students and they safely enter the exam area, do I feel truly at ease," said Mr. Dat.

For candidates who arrive late, the teacher will proactively call to check, inquire about the situation and coordinate with parents to find a timely solution to bring them to the exam location safely and on time.

This year, Hong Ha High School students took the exam at 5 different locations in the city. At each exam location, the school assigned teachers to be on duty, accompanying students from early morning. Having a son in Mr. Dat's class, Ms. Nguyen Thuy Lan (Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi) expressed her emotion at the enthusiasm and dedication of the male teacher.

"This morning, I stood among the crowd, saw the teacher calling each student's name, carefully marking them and then calling to ask if any students had arrived yet. I am truly grateful that my child is studying in an environment with such dedicated teachers. Just a small action, but it is a great motivation for the children before the most important exam of their lives," the female parent confided.

This year’s high school graduation exam took place over two days, June 26-27, with more than 1.16 million candidates taking the exam. Of these, 1.12 million (96.33%) were grade 12 candidates taking the exam under the new generaleducation program, and 42,782 (3.67%) were independent candidates.

This morning (June 26), candidates took the Literature exam in essay format, lasting 120 minutes. This year's exam has changed in score distribution, specifically consisting of 2 parts: Reading Comprehension (4 points) and Writing (6 points). In previous years, the Literature high school graduation exam was designed to consist of 2 parts: Reading Comprehension (3 points) and Writing (7 points).

The most notable new point in this exam is that the test will use materials outside of the textbook, such as paragraphs, poems or situations related to current events and social life. The test focuses on assessing the candidates' thinking ability, literary appreciation and expression ability. Therefore, the Literature test makes many students and teachers nervous, expectant and expectant.
