Consecutive strong earthquakes have seriously affected people's lives and infrastructure in the epicenter communes of Quang Ngai . The locality has urgently directed the authorities to closely monitor, respond to earthquakes and overcome damage, especially prioritizing the safety of students and teachers.
In recent days, life at Mang But 2 Ethnic Boarding School, Mang But Commune, has been completely turned upside down. Teachers and students here have continuously suffered "earthquakes", culminating in a 4.9 magnitude earthquake that occurred at 1:28 a.m. on October 6, causing panic.

Mang But 2 Boarding Primary and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities has 296 students, nearly 100% of whom are Xo Dang. Because it was built a long time ago, it is easily damaged, with many large cracks appearing after earthquakes.
"With the frequency of earthquakes occurring continuously as in recent times, the school is very worried about the safety of students and teachers," Mr. Duc expressed.

Mr. A Lien, Ro Xia village, Mang Den commune, is living in fear as many large cracks have appeared in his house.
“Many strong earthquakes make the ground shake. People do not dare to go to the fields during this time for fear of falling rocks and landslides caused by earthquakes,” Mr. A Lien shared.
