The US attacked three key nuclear facilities in Iran on June 22. President Donald Trump said the US airstrikes had “obliterated” Iran’s nuclear facilities in Fordow, Isfahan and Natanz.

The White House chief warned of further strikes to wipe out the country's nuclear enrichment capacity if Tehran fails to reach a peace deal.

According to Al Jazeera , many countries and international organizations have spoken out after the US attack on Iran, fearing that the airstrike will escalate the conflict between Israel and Iran.

“I am deeply concerned by the use of force by the United States against Iran. This is a dangerous escalation in a region already on the brink – and a direct threat to international peace and security. There is a growing risk that this conflict could spiral rapidly out of control – with catastrophic consequences for civilians, the region and the world, ” said UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

Mr. Guterres called on member states to de-escalate and uphold their obligations under the United Nations Charter and other rules of international law.

"At this dangerous moment, it is important to avoid a spiral of chaos. There is no military solution. The only way forward is diplomacy. The only hope is peace," Mr. Guterres stressed.

Saudi Arabia expressed "great concern" following the US attacks, the Saudi Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

“All parties must exercise restraint and avoid escalation,” the Saudi Foreign Ministry said, calling on the international community to step up efforts in such “extremely sensitive circumstances” to reach a political solution to end the crisis.

Qatar's Foreign Ministry warned that the current dangerous escalation in the region could lead to catastrophic consequences at both the regional and international levels.

Oman, which brokered nuclear talks between the US and Iran, strongly condemned the US airstrikes.

Iraq warned that US attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities would threaten peace and stability in the Middle East.

"This military escalation poses a serious threat to peace and security in the Middle East and poses a serious risk to the stability of the region," Iraqi government spokesman Basim Alawadi said.

Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel strongly condemned the US bombing, calling it a "dangerous escalation" and a serious violation of the United Nations Charter.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer called on Iran to return to the negotiating table and said regional stability remained a top priority.

The European Union's foreign policy chief, Kaja Kallas, called on all sides to de-escalate tensions and return to negotiations. "I urge all parties to step back, return to the negotiating table and prevent further escalation," Kallas wrote on X.

“We continue to call for dialogue and diplomacy, and de-escalation,” an Australian government spokesperson said.

Meanwhile, the Mexican Foreign Ministry urgently called for diplomatic dialogue for peace between the parties involved in the Middle East conflict.

“Venezuela condemns the US military action against Iran and demands an immediate end to hostilities,” Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yvan Gil said in a Telegram post.
