Recently, a person claiming to be a student at the Central University of Art Education, who participated in the A80 program on September 2, shared a post saying that he had not received any support for students participating in the program, while students from many other schools had received it.
Sharing with VietNamNet reporter , student K, Central University of Art Education said that up to now, he and many friends have not received money to participate in the A80 event from the school. When he learned that students from other schools had received money, K. was a bit worried but did not take the matter seriously because "after all, we participated voluntarily".

Regarding this issue, in an interview with VietNamNet reporter on December 1, Mr. Le Vinh Hung, Principal of the Central University of Art Education, affirmed that there is no such thing as the school not paying support money to students. The school will fully implement the payment in accordance with the regulations and instructions of the management agency.
"This is a task that has been agreed upon in the contract and the School is responsible for implementing it in accordance with regulations. However, the payment process must comply with the control steps of the State Treasury, so it cannot be implemented immediately as some comments on social networks," said Mr. Hung.
According to Mr. Hung, the progress of implementation depends on the volume of documents that need to be completed and the legal requirements in payment settlement. Meanwhile, for task A80, the school has more than 2,000 students participating in the block of artistic word formation (the largest among the units participating in this block).
"All records must be checked, reviewed and completed completely and accurately before the State Treasury reviews and accepts payment. The payment process includes: Collecting complete records of each student; checking and comparing information (list, student code, account number, eligibility); reviewing through multiple levels to ensure validity and accuracy; submitting to the State Treasury for appraisal and acceptance of payment. With more than 2,000 students, the workload is huge and needs to be strictly controlled," said Mr. Hung.
The principal said that the school's finance department and related units are actively implementing to pay the right subjects and the right amount of support from the organizing committee for each student; ensuring the students' rights.
"The Board of Directors is directing units to make efforts to complete the process as soon as possible, ensuring transparency and accuracy of all documents and procedures. The school ensures that as soon as it receives funding from superiors, it will transfer the support regime according to regulations to the students' accounts," said Mr. Hung.
Previously, a student from Hanoi College of Tourism also posted online that he only received 940,000 VND in cash, while knowing that some other schools paid 1,600,000 VND/student for the A80 program training session. Talking to VietNamNet on November 30, the Principal of Hanoi College of Tourism said that these were "unfortunate misunderstandings" due to unclear and incomplete information communicated from homeroom teachers to students. The principal said that the school's support payment was divided into 2 installments and in addition to the 940,000 VND received, students will receive additional support in the second installment of about 500,000 VND/person.
