Patriotic emulation spreads the aspiration for a rich and beautiful Thai Nguyen

"Competition is patriotism, patriotism requires competition", with responsibility, love for the profession and the will to rise up, typical collectives and individuals of Thai Nguyen province are contributing to continuing the profound meaning of Uncle Ho's teachings.

The 1st Patriotic Emulation Congress of Thai Nguyen province, period 2025 - 2030, honored hundreds of typical and advanced collectives and individuals, encouraged the will of self-reliance and self-improvement, promoted the strength of national solidarity as a driving force for Thai Nguyen to rise strongly in the new period.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Emulation and Reward Council of Thai Nguyen province Pham Hoang Son delivered the opening speech of the congress.

In his opening speech, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Emulation and Reward Council of Thai Nguyen province Pham Hoang Son emphasized: Over the past 5 years, the patriotic emulation movement of Thai Nguyen has been widely deployed, becoming an important driving force to promote the completion and surpassing of many socio- economic development targets.

Movements such as "The whole country joins hands to build new countryside", "For the poor - no one is left behind", "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses", or "Cadres, civil servants and public employees compete to practice office culture" have gone into depth, bringing practical results.

Thanks to that, Thai Nguyen has achieved many outstanding results, the average economic growth rate reached 7.3%/year; GRDP reached over 202,900 billion VND, 1.6 times higher than in 2020; average income per capita reached 119 million VND/year; 66.7% of communes met new rural standards. The fields of culture, health, education , and social security continued to be taken care of; the poverty rate decreased by an average of 1.41%/year; the SIPAS index maintained the 2nd position nationwide for 3 consecutive years.

With the theme "Solidarity, democracy, innovation, creativity, emulation to build Thai Nguyen province to develop rapidly and sustainably", the Congress is an opportunity to summarize and honor advanced models and propose directions and solutions to continue promoting the emulation movement, contributing to the successful implementation of the socio-economic development goals for the period 2025 - 2030.

Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Vice Chairman of the Central Emulation and Reward Council Do Van Chien delivered a speech at the congress.

Speaking at the Congress, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Emulation and Reward Council Do Van Chien praised the province's outstanding achievements; at the same time, he requested Thai Nguyen to continue to innovate the content and methods of emulation, orient the movement towards the grassroots, link emulation with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; create an environment for emulation movements to truly become a driving force for development.

Believing that with its revolutionary tradition and solidarity, Thai Nguyen will continue to be a bright spot in the patriotic emulation movement, contributing to the goal of becoming a modern industrial center with high average income by 2030 and a developed, high-income province by 2045.

On behalf of the leaders of Thai Nguyen province, Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Xuan Truong expressed his gratitude and accepted the direction of Politburo member and Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien. The Provincial Party Secretary also commended the comprehensive results achieved by the Party Committee, government and people of the province in the period of 2020 - 2025. At the same time, he emphasized that the patriotic emulation movements have created an important driving force to promote socio-economic development, strengthen the great national unity bloc, contribute to improving people's lives and strengthening people's trust in the Party and government.

Entering the 2025 - 2030 period, Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Xuan Truong called on the entire Party Committee, government, business community and people of all ethnic groups in the province to continue promoting the spirit of patriotic emulation following the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh; promote innovation in the content and methods of organizing emulation movements associated with political tasks; focus on discovering, fostering and replicating advanced models; timely and substantial rewards; strengthen the application of information technology and digital transformation in emulation and reward work, create a vibrant and widespread emulation atmosphere, contributing to the successful implementation of the province's development goals in the new period.

At the Congress, the Organizing Committee announced the list of commendations, honors and rewards for collectives and individuals in Thai Nguyen province with outstanding achievements in patriotic emulation movements.

Authorized by the President, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien awarded the Labor Medal to collectives and individuals.

Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien, awarded the First, Second and Third Class Labor Medals of the President to 1 collective and 22 individuals with outstanding achievements in work, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland; awarded the Government's Emulation Flag to Thai Nguyen province for its outstanding achievements in the 2024 emulation movement of the Cluster of provinces in the midlands and Red River Delta.

Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Xuan Truong awarded the President's Third-class Labor Medal to 24 individuals who had outstanding achievements in their work, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.

Head of the Central Emulation and Reward Committee Pham Huy Giang awarded the Government's Emulation Flag to 11 collectives with outstanding achievements, leading the patriotic emulation movement in 2024 and the 2024-2025 school year of Thai Nguyen province.

In addition, 1 collective and 19 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister for their outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, in the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas" for the period 2021 - 2025, the emulation movement "For the poor - No one is left behind" for the period 2021 - 2025, the emulation movement "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025" and outstanding achievements in work, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland and 7 collectives and 17 individuals with achievements in flood and storm prevention, rescue and overcoming the consequences of storm No. 11 in the province.

This is a worthy recognition for the spirit of daring to think, daring to do, and the constant efforts of cadres, party members and people of the whole province in the patriotic emulation movement, the driving force for sustainable development of Thai Nguyen today.

In the solemn and exciting atmosphere of the Congress, the Emulation and Reward Council of Thai Nguyen province launched the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2025 - 2030, calling on all cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, workers, armed forces, business community and people of all ethnic groups in the province to promote the spirit of solidarity, creativity, self-reliance, self-reliance, and strive to successfully implement the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, contributing to building Thai Nguyen to develop rapidly and sustainably.
