Misses from all over the world are landing in Hanoi

On October 3 and 4, contestants from all over the world gathered in Hanoi, the destination for international beauty queens to introduce themselves to domestic and international friends. About 30 contestants from countries around the world landed in the capital Hanoi to join the journey of "Miss Grand International" (Miss Grand International 2023).

Miss Grand Singapore said: "My friends are jealous when they know I'm coming to Vietnam because they say Vietnam is very beautiful, has a rich culture and especially delicious food."

Miss Grand Myanmar shared that she has prepared many costumes and hopes fans will look forward to her performance at the contest.

Making an impression on the first day of welcoming contestants, Miss Grand Philippines chose a white ao dai and shared that she loved the design lines of the traditional Vietnamese costume. Also choosing a Vietnamese ao dai, Miss Grand Thailand also appeared graceful and friendly with fans.

Many contestants said they were immersed in the scenery of Vietnam when watching the introductions of "Miss Grand International 2023" about the beautiful S-shaped land. Miss Grand Chile shared that she had been to Vietnam, specifically Phu Quoc for personal work and was impressed with the seafood cuisine as well as the scenery, so she looked forward to this return.

Director Hoang Nhat Nam, a member of the organizing committee, said: "Contestants have a day to rest and practice at a 5-star hotel or resort. We arrange for each contestant to receive a surprise gift during their journey, which can be Vietnamese specialties, handicrafts, cuisine, cosmetics, etc."

Miss Grand Philippines wears Ao Dai when coming to Vietnam

The organizers have carefully prepared the menu, so contestants can learn and explore regional dishes while still ensuring international food, diverse from Asia, Europe, Japan, and Latin.

The organizers also ensure vegetarian dishes, doing their best to ensure the health of the contestants. There are sessions where contestants learn to cook Vietnamese dishes, which is a close idea, an approach to help contestants promote tourism and culture for Vietnam.

Regarding choosing Hanoi as the first destination at "Miss Grand International 2023", director Hoang Nhat Nam said this has profound significance for the start of the contest.

"After the journey to promote Hanoi's scenic spots, the contestants continued to travel to Ha Long Bay, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Hoi An and Hue. The journey was interesting, but quite tiring for the crew. Arranging the schedule so that contestants everywhere could feel the natural beauty, the country and people, and the lifestyle of Vietnam, that is what we are most proud of" - said Mr. Hoang Nhat Nam.

The organizing committee representative said that when arriving at each place, contestants will experience traditional Vietnamese costumes such as ao dai, ao yem, and learn about the cuisine of each region. This is an interesting approach that will delight contestants.
