Candidates across the province complete procedures for the 10th grade entrance exam

BHG - On the afternoon of June 4, more than 10,500 candidates from all over the province came to complete procedures, study the Examination Regulations and confirm their registration documents for the 10th grade High School Entrance Exam for the 2025-2026 school year. This year's exam will take place over 3 days, June 5-7. The Department of Education and Training (DET) established 39 Examination Councils with 432 examination rooms.

This year's exam will take place over 3 days, June 5-7. The Departmentof Education and Training (DET) established 39 Examination Councils with 432 examination rooms.

According to the new admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training , candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam, in addition to the two compulsory subjects of Math and Literature, will have to take an additional subject or a third exam chosen by the Department of Education and Training. The third subject is a subject assessed by scores in the secondary school general education program or the third exam is a combination of several subjects assessed by scores in the secondary school general education program. Accordingly, Ha Giang has chosen History - Geography as the third subject in this year's 10th grade entrance exam. Particularly for admission to Specialized High Schools, candidates must take an additional specialized subject according to the secondary school program, with separate exam questions, and content to ensure the selection of students with suitable talents.

Tomorrow (June 5), candidates will take the Literature and Math exams; on the morning of June 6, they will take the History - Geography exams; on the afternoon of June 6 and the morning of June 7, they will take the Specialized subjects exams. It was noted that during the afternoon session of studying the Exam Regulations, some candidates forgot to bring their Citizen Identification Cards and had to go home to get them or take a portrait photo and write a commitment. Parents reminded students to prepare all the school supplies allowed in the exam room and related documents, to be calm and confident in entering the exam and achieving high results.
