This year's exam is held for two groups of candidates, corresponding to the new (2018) and old (2006) general education programs.

Candidates taking the old program (2006 program) will take the literature, math, foreign language exams, and one of two natural sciences (physics, chemistry, biology) and social sciences (history, geography, civics).
Therefore, the exam is also organized with many new features such as: there are 2 exam shifts, each exam room can have up to 5 subjects... In addition, the number of exam codes for each subject will double compared to previous years with 48 exam codes.
Of which, there are 24 exam codes for session 1 and 24 exam codes for session 2. In previous years, the exam for all subjects had 24 codes (except for the essay-based literature subject).
