Connecting and improving the quality of the Vietnamese student community in the UK

On May 17, leaders of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association met and worked with representatives of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Student Association in the United Kingdom (SVUK).

Also attending the meeting were Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet - Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Student Association and Mr. Nguyen Ba Cat - Vice President of the Vietnam Student Association.

Speaking here, Mr. Cao Quoc Dung - Chairman of SVUK, reported on the programs and events that have been implemented in the past time, as well as the Association's upcoming plans this year.

With the aim of further connecting and improving the quality of the Vietnamese international student community, SVUK plans to launch two typical events, “Overseas Student Blood Donation Day 2025” and “Job Fair 2025” with the help of the Central Association this Summer.

In addition, SVUK representatives also updated on the work of introducing outstanding students for Party membership, along with the progress of implementing the 5 Good Students award for the first time in the UK.

Listening to the above sharing, Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet praised the achievements and efforts of the Association in recent times.

At the same time, he also emphasized that SVUK needs to continue to strengthen and connect with the Vietsocs Association network, build a database of members and especially that the Association needs to develop more academic and professional activities.

In addition, he also hopes that SVUK can design and implement the "5 Good Students" program comprehensively, close to the reality and needs of international students, as well as continue to strengthen Party development for the Vietnamese student community in the UK.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet hopes that the SVUK Executive Board will continue to promote the achievements gained in the past and continue to strive in the future.
