Online test 'Learning about the Law on Prevention and Control of Tobacco Harms'

(PLVN) - Today (November 19), the online contest "Learning about the Law on Prevention and Control of Tobacco Harms" organized by Cong Ly Newspaper in collaboration with the Fund for Prevention and Control of Tobacco Harms (Ministry of Health) officially launched. The contest lasts until November 30, 2025, aiming to increase the effectiveness of propaganda, bring the provisions of the Law on Prevention and Control of Tobacco Harms closer to the people, contributing to building a healthy, smoke-free living environment.

The contest is designed to widely disseminate legal content, contributing to the formation of a healthy, smoke-free living environment, while promoting awareness of self-protection of health and community responsibility of each individual.

Candidates will go through 4 test sections (also known as knowledge blocks), including: Knowledge block, Situational block, Comprehensive knowledge test block and Essay block. The system of questions in each block is carefully compiled, ensuring a harmonious combination between theoretical content and situations related to life, helping candidates not only master legal regulations but also know how to identify, analyze and handle practical problems related to preventing and combating the harmful effects of tobacco.

This structure aims to create interest for test takers, while also supporting candidates to self-assess their level of understanding, legal thinking ability and ability to apply the law in practice, thereby contributing to raising awareness of law compliance in the community.

The test content includes regulations of the Law on Prevention and Control of Tobacco Harms; knowledge about the harmful effects of traditional cigarettes, electronic cigarettes and heated tobacco products; responsibilities of organizations and individuals in the work of preventing and controlling the harmful effects of tobacco. Candidates participate in the form of online multiple-choice tests, can take the test multiple times and the system will automatically record the highest results.

The Organizing Committee hopes that the Contest will attract a large number of participants, becoming a practical and effective activity in the common effort to reduce smoking rates and promote the formation of a civilized, healthy, smoke-free community.

CONTEST PRIZES
1. Individual award
The winners will be awarded a Certificate by the Organizing Committee with a prize (if any) and the prize level as follows:
a) 01 First Prize: VND 6,000,000/prize (Six million VND/prize);
b) 03 Second Prizes: VND 3,000,000/prize (Three million VND/prize);
c) 05 Third Prizes: VND 2,000,000/prize (Two million VND/prize);
d) 10 Consolation Prizes: VND 500,000/prize (Five hundred thousand VND/prize).
2. Collective solution
The Organizing Committee of the Competition selects the units with the most participants or the units with the most individuals winning prizes. The Organizing Committee of the Competition issues Certificates with prizes (if any) and the prize levels as follows:
a) 01 First Prize: VND 10,000,000/prize (Ten million VND/prize);
b) 03 Second Prizes: VND 7,000,000/prize (Seven million VND/prize);
c) 05 Third Prizes: VND 5,000,000/prize (Five million VND/prize);
d) 10 Consolation Prizes: VND 1,000,000/prize (One million VND/prize).
