4 traffic "problems" challenge students, increase understanding of the law

(Dan Tri) - The contests "Learning about traffic order and safety laws" are organized on digital platforms, helping people, especially students, access traffic laws more easily and vividly.

On the morning of November 10, in Ho Chi Minh City, the launching ceremony of the online contest "Learning about laws on traffic order and safety" took place.

The event attracted the attention of many university students and representatives of organizing agencies, including the Office of the National Traffic Safety Committee, the Southern Center for Education and Training Development ( Ministry of Education and Training ), the People's Police Academy...

At the ceremony, the organizers stated that traffic accidents are still complicated, causing painful consequences and burdens for society. One of the leading causes is limited awareness of law compliance, especially among students and young people.

Therefore, competitions are held on digital platforms, helping people, especially students, to access traffic laws more easily and vividly.

This year's four online competitions include: Learning about the law on participating in traffic on highways; learning about the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety in 2024 and safe driving skills; learning about the law on violations of alcohol concentration regulations when driving vehicles; learning about the law on the responsibility of the person who hands over the vehicle to a person who is not qualified to drive a vehicle.

Each contest includes 4 knowledge blocks: Basic, practical situations, synthesis and essay; helping contestants to both study and practice legal thinking, and self-assess their ability to understand and apply the law in daily life.

The contest applies technology and artificial intelligence (AI) in scoring, statistics and data analysis to ensure absolute fairness, transparency and objectivity for all participating candidates.

This is also the factor that made Nguyen Thanh Trung, a student of Hoa Sen University, present at the ceremony, express his excitement. Trung wants to face and solve practical situations.

"With the rounds that the organizers offer, it can help me solve more realistic situations. And that is also a part to help us perceive and be able to handle situations later when students encounter them," Trung shared.

Mr. Le Thang Loi, Director of the Southern Center for Education and Training Development (Ministry of Education and Training), emphasized that traffic safety is always a concern of the Party, State and the whole society.

For the education sector, raising awareness and forming a culture of safe traffic for the young generation is a regular and continuous task that needs to be innovated in approach, especially in the current digital technology context.

Mr. Loi also affirmed that this online contest is a lively and creative form, helping students access legal knowledge in a proactive and attractive way, suitable for the digital age and age.

"I believe that from each question and each situation in the contest, students will understand more, love more and proactively build a safe and friendly traffic environment," Mr. Loi shared.

Ms. To Thi Lan Phuong, representative of the Organizing Committee, said that the online competitions will take place simultaneously from November 15 to November 23, organized entirely on a digital platform, allowing contestants from all over the country to participate conveniently.
