“Sleeping Sea Paradise” with crystal clear blue water, more than 5 hours drive from Hanoi

Ky Xuan beach is about 13km long, arc-shaped, located in the territory of 3 villages Thang Loi, Nguyen Hue and Xuan Phu in Ky Xuan commune, Ky Anh, Ha Tinh .

Nearly 45km from the center of Ha Tinh city, this place still retains its wild beauty, clear sea water, long white sand beaches, green pine forests and undulating mountains in the distance.

Interestingly, Ky Xuan beach has not yet developed strongly in tourism , so even during holidays and peak summer, visitors can still have a peaceful feeling, without hustle and bustle.

Because of that, Ky Xuan beach is known as "sleeping paradise", "green pearl of Ha Tinh".

During the recent April 30 holiday, Mr. Quang Hai, a native of Ha Tinh who is living and working in Hanoi, visited Ky Xuan beach.

"When I was little, every summer, I often went to Ky Xuan beach to play. When I grew up and came back here, I still found the beach very beautiful, clear blue, clean shore, peaceful space, a feeling of lightness, being immersed in nature.

On holidays, the atmosphere is a bit more exciting," said Mr. Hai.

Tourists can wake up early, walk along the beach to watch the sunrise and the fishing boats just arriving at the port of the fishing village. In addition to the beach and beautiful scenery, Ky Xuan beach also has two famous places: Cu Ky beach and En island, about 5 nautical miles from the shore.

Tourists can combine the journey from Thien Cam beach, through Cam Linh beach (Cam Xuyen district) and then to Ky Xuan beach.

Cam Linh Beach is about 4km long, the scenery is also very peaceful and romantic with the intersection between the ocean and the mountains and forests, clear blue water, many rocky outcrops, and beautiful natural rock beaches.

Not only has beautiful scenery, Ky Xuan beach is also famous for many kinds of fresh seafood such as squid, grouper, cockles, blood cockles...

In early summer, this place is in the season of delicious, fatty stone crabs. Stone crabs live in rocky crevices around the sea, fishermen catch them by diving. Clean the stone crabs, steam them whole with beer, which is the fastest way to prepare them while still retaining their delicious flavor.

The ideal time to visit Ky Xuan beach is from May to September every year, the weather is dry and sunny, no rain.

Late August and early September is the time of changing seasons, Ha Tinh starts to rain heavily and has sudden thunderstorms and storms. If you travel to the beach during this time, you need to follow the weather forecast.

In recent years, Ky Anh district has invested in transport infrastructure connecting with Ky Xuan beach tourist area, increased promotional activities, and attracted investment projects in services and resorts.

There are now many restaurants and eateries around the beach. However, new, modern resorts are still very limited. Visitors should book rooms in advance if they plan to explore this place for a long time.
