On May 17, in Hanoi, the award ceremony of the contest "Uncle Ho with Children - Children with Uncle Ho" for the 2024-2025 school year took place, jointly organized by the Young Pioneers and Children Newspaper, the Central Council of Young Pioneers, the Department of Students - Ministry of Education and Training , practically aiming to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday.
This is the 5th time the contest Uncle Ho with children - Children with Uncle Ho has been widely held both domestically and internationally for children aged 6-15.
Through the contest, students can learn about the life, career, and revolutionary activities of President Ho Chi Minh as well as express their deep feelings for Uncle Ho in one of two forms: Writing or drawing.

According to the Organizing Committee, the contest attracted a large number of children to participate with nearly 220,000 entries (both written and drawn) from 1,111 schools and children's houses in 61 provinces and cities across the country.
The quality of the students’ entries this year was highly appreciated by the jury. Many students created entries that were like a handbook rich in documents about the life and career of Uncle Ho; many creative entries with content about “flowers of good deeds”, “diaries of good deeds”… contained many of the students’ feelings for beloved Uncle Ho.
