14 year old boy used iron rod to beat 16 year old boy and injured him

(NLDO) – The police said they are continuing to verify the case and will handle it according to the level and provisions of the law, especially the age of the offender.

On February 21, a leader of Vu Bon Commune Police, Krong Pak District, Dak Lak Province said that the unit is continuing to clarify the case of a 14-year-old boy beating a 16-year-old boy, injuring him.

PVD student was beaten and had to be hospitalized for treatment.

According to the leader of Vu Bon Commune Police, after the incident, the unit invited the children's families to come in for questioning.

The minutes of the meeting show that NTD (born in 2011) used a 3-section stick to beat PVD (born in 2009). VD is currently being treated at the Krong Pak District Medical Center.

"The commune police are continuing to verify, based on the level and regulations of the law, especially the age of the violation, to handle it according to regulations" - the leader of Vu Bon commune police informed.

According to the report of Ms. DTNT (VD's mother, a 10th grader), on the evening of February 19, she and a friend in the neighborhood went to the soccer field in Doan Ket village, Vu Bon commune to play. At 9:15 p.m. the same day, two teenagers arrived on electric bicycles.

While VD was lying in a hammock playing, TD rushed over and beat him with an iron rod. Discovering the incident, a local resident held TD back to wait for the police to arrive and handle the situation.

According to the report, VD was hit in the head, had to have 12 stitches, and had a closed fracture in his hand.
