On March 26, the delegation of CHINPAN Port Engineering Company (Taiwan) and CHENYUNG Charity Foundation Vietnam visited and worked with THILOGI Group. Welcoming the delegation were Mr. Bui Minh Truc - General Director of THILOGI and Mr. Do Minh Tam - General Director of THACO INDUSTRIES.
At the meeting, the delegation listened to an introduction to the production and business activities of THACO and THILOGI, the logistics service chain provided by THILOGI, the 50,000-ton port project with a modern crane system and projects that will be invested in Chu Lai port in the near future. The parties exchanged information on the actual investment and use of RMG (rail-mounted gantry crane), RTG (tire-mounted crane), eRTG (semi-automatic crane) crane systems in container exploitation activities in the Vietnamese market; shared experiences in operating the eRTG crane system; and at the same time sought opportunities for cooperation in training, improving professional qualifications and skills for employees in port management and operation.
Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Chin Ma Li - Chairman of CHINPAN Port Engineering Company expressed her impression of the production scale and modern technology of the units and factories at THACO Chu Lai Industrial Park. With the technical infrastructure, loading and unloading equipment, and information technology being invested and applied at Chu Lai port, she hopes to cooperate with THILOGI in the future to integrate many diverse services with advanced, environmentally friendly solutions, thereby optimizing costs at the port, serving domestic and international enterprises.
Previously, THILOGI also worked with international shipping lines such as SITC and ZIM to discuss the increasing demand for transporting goods through Chu Lai port (especially agricultural products in Laos and Cambodia), THILOGI's ability to provide international shipping services, along with improving the wharf capacity to receive large tonnage ships after the completion of the 50,000-ton wharf. THILOGI also proposed that shipping lines study the opening of more shipping routes, increase the frequency of ship calls, and directly connect Chu Lai port to other ports in the world to meet the increasing demand for import and export of goods of businesses in the Central region, Central Highlands, Southern Laos and Northern Cambodia.
