Rewarding outstanding collectives and individuals in studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton in 2025
Right from the first days of implementing Directive 05, Thoai Son identified studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style as the top political task, closely linked to the goal of building a clean and strong Party organization, building a new rural district, advanced new rural areas and civilized urban areas. This is clearly demonstrated through extensive dissemination and learning activities.
In 10 years, Thoai Son district has organized 1,779 deployments, attracting 50,811 cadres and party members to participate. Thereby, it has made an important contribution to raising awareness, creating strong changes in ideology and action, helping cadres and party members improve their political capacity and steadfastly maintain their ideological stance. In particular, the cadres and party members, especially key cadres and leaders, have actively set an example in performing their tasks, training themselves in the spirit of daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility, always being close to the people, serving the people, taking care of the people's lives better and better.
The effectiveness of studying and following Uncle Ho in Thoai Son is demonstrated by specific figures in life. The average income per capita of the district reached 79 million VND, and the average production value reached 225 million VND/ha/year. Along with economic development, the infrastructure system has also been invested synchronously. The rural traffic network has been upgraded and expanded; electricity, roads, schools and stations are increasingly spacious and clean, better serving the needs of studying, medical examination, treatment and daily life of the people. These changes have changed the face of the countryside and improved the quality of life for the people.
Directive 05 has been put into practice, arousing the spirit of "mutual love" and creativity in the community. A series of good models and creative ways have been born and promoted effectively such as the model: Fund for Encouragement of Learning - Encouragement of Talent; Association of Shelters of Love; surgery for poor children with congenital heart disease; Party committees and authorities listening to people's opinions; cameras to ensure security and order; charity rice jars; charity kitchens; charity cemeteries...
Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Thoai Son District Party Committee Nguyen Quoc Khanh shared: “Setting an example in the political system has created trust among the masses. Since then, the movement to study and follow Uncle Ho's example among the people has increasingly spread, both in breadth and depth, through many typical models and examples. In particular, Thoai Son has mobilized 31 funds for social security with the amount of money mobilized up to tens of billions of VND”.
A typical example of the spread of the spirit of charity is the Vinh Trach Commune Charity Canteen. Established in October 2010, at the Hoa Hao Buddhist Executive Committee of Vinh Trach Commune. Initially, the canteen only served 40-50 lunches per day for poor students, teachers and workers. Up to now, the number of lunches has increased to 300 per day, served free of charge. Mr. Vo Van Tuan, Head of the Hoa Hao Buddhist Executive Committee of Vinh Trach Commune and Head of the Charity Canteen Executive Committee shared: "Along with promoting propaganda, mobilizing, and attracting resources to contribute to the construction of the Charity Canteen Fund, activities of inspecting and supervising food hygiene and safety, service quality, and meal nutrition are focused on".
