According to the results of the examination, the dossier requesting recognition of Nha Trang City as having completed the task of building a new rural area in 2024 has been fully completed by the City People's Committee, in accordance with the requirements of order and procedures. After nearly 15 years of implementing the new rural area building program, infrastructure and welfare works in Nha Trang have been significantly improved. There are no more temporary or dilapidated houses in the communes. In 2024, the average income per capita will reach 63.37 million VND, 6.9 times higher than in 2010. The poverty rate will decrease to 0.08%. Theeducation system will develop strongly in both scale and quality; all communes have standard health stations, and the rate of households using clean water will reach 100%.
Currently, Nha Trang City has 7/7 communes meeting the NTM standards, of which 1 commune meets the advanced NTM standards. 100% of wards meet the civilized urban standards. The ratio of public green space in urban areas reaches 6.47m2 /person. The total resources mobilized for NTM construction of the city in the period of 2010 - 2024 reached more than 1,263 billion VND.
At the meeting, 100% of the members of the Provincial Steering Committee for National Target Programs unanimously voted to recognize Nha Trang City as qualified to submit to competent authorities for consideration and recognition as "The City completing the task of building a new rural area in 2024".
