Initial information on the tourist boat sinking in Ha Long Bay

At around 1:45 p.m. this afternoon (July 19), due to a sudden storm, in the area near Dau Go Cave, Ha Long Bay, a tourist boat with registration number QN-7105 sank.

Immediately after receiving the information, Quang Ninh provincial authorities urgently deployed rescue work.

Comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, directly directed the rescue work; assigned Comrade Pham Duc An, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, to be present at the scene to direct the rescue work, ensuring the safety of tourists and crew members.

At this point, rescue work is being urgently deployed, the highest priority is to ensure the safety of people and tourists.
