The Fire and Rescue Police and the Water Police must regularly exchange information with the police in coastal communes and wards, and continue to raise awareness and mobilize fishermen at sea to actively participate in the search for the victims.
Over the past few days, despite being affected by Typhoon No. 3 and its aftermath, which caused high waves and heavy rain, the officers and soldiers of the 28 search and rescue teams under the Quang Ninh Provincial Police have overcome difficulties and hardships, persistently coordinating with relevant functional forces to expand the search area for victims of the boat capsizing incident.
As of now, of the 49 people on board the Green Bay 58 vessel that met with an accident in Ha Long Bay on the afternoon of July 19th, authorities have rescued 10 people, recovered 37 bodies and handed them over to their families, and 2 victims are still missing at sea.
