Receiving a report from local residents about seeing a male body drifting in Ha Long Bay, the area between Bai Chay beach and Dau Go cave, the Border Guard Station of Hon Gai port mobilized 1 boat and 5 officers to the scene to conduct salvage.

The victim was identified as a male, tall, about 40 years old, wearing shorts, a gray T-shirt, a phone in a black pocket, and short hair.

Rescuers brought the body ashore and handed it over to authorities.
