On February 5, Hai Duong province held a ceremony to open the interchange connecting Provincial Road 392, Binh Giang district with Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway.
The Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway invested and put into operation by Vidifi has contributed to creating momentum for economic development of the provinces through which the expressway passes, including Hai Duong province.
The interchange connecting Provincial Road 392 with the Hanoi – Hai Phong Expressway in Binh Giang District is one of the gateways of Hai Duong Province to the capital Hanoi, Hai Phong Port and other economic centers. This interchange has been planned for a long time but has not been invested in construction because the state budget has not yet allocated investment capital. Hai Duong Province has called for investment in the construction of this project from socialized capital.
It is known that on December 24, 2021, the People's Committee of Hai Duong province and Hoa Phat Group, together with Vidifi, signed an agreement to sponsor the investment project to complete the construction of the interchange connecting Provincial Road 392, Binh Giang district with Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway. In which, Hoa Phat Group sponsored the construction of the project with a total investment of 321 billion VND. The interchange includes the main items of a Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway overpass over 215m long, 15.5m wide, a 33.2m long residential underpass and 3.6km of access road. The starting point of the interchange is at Km9+080 Provincial Road 392, the end point connects to Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway at Km39+900.
The intersection started construction in April 2022. After more than 1 year of construction, the project was completed and put into use. The intersection, when put into use, will contribute positively to the development and economic growth of Hai Duong province and districts of the province such as Binh Giang and Thanh Mien.
At the opening ceremony, Mr. Trieu The Hung - Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee affirmed: "The intersection connecting Provincial Road 392 of Hai Duong province with Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway is an important traffic project connecting the West and Southwest of Hai Duong with the national expressway network".
The completed project will contribute to the economic development of the region as well as the specialized economic zone in Binh Giang district to be formed soon in the future. The People's Committee of Hai Duong province also requested the Department of Transport, departments and branches of the province to closely coordinate with relevant units to manage the quality and safety of the project and at the same time speed up the planning and implementation of projects in the area so that the project can truly bring about sustainable and long-term economic values for Hai Duong province...
