At the same time, countries and international organizations also promptly provided direct and indirect human and material support to Vietnam to overcome the consequences as soon as possible.
Acting Head of State Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister Hun Manet, and President of the National Assembly Khuon Sudary sent their deepest sympathies and condolences to the State and people of Vietnam, especially to the families of the victims. The Cambodian leaders expressed their belief that Vietnam will overcome this difficult time.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared the loss and affirmed solidarity with the Vietnamese people. India is ready to support and help Vietnam so that people in the affected areas can soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon shared the loss and affirmed solidarity with the Vietnamese people, ready to support Vietnam in overcoming the consequences of the storm, overcoming all difficulties to soon stabilize life.
Pope Francis, President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko, and President of the Republic of Seychelles Wavel Ramkalawan also sent letters and telegrams of condolences and shared messages of condolence about the losses caused by storm No. 3 to Vietnam.

In addition to letters and telegrams of condolences, many countries and international organizations have provided timely support in terms of finance, equipment, essential supplies and experts... As of September 16, 2024, 20 countries and international organizations have decided or planned to provide support with a total value of more than 22 million USD (equivalent to about 550 billion VND) and many equipment for accommodation, clean water, sanitation... to Vietnam to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.
With the tradition of patriotism, always looking towards the Fatherland and responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, overseas Vietnamese have donated more than 600 million VND. In addition, the overseas Vietnamese community has proactively called for and donated up to 19 billion VND to support people in cities and provinces affected by storm No. 3 to quickly overcome the damage and stabilize their lives. It is expected that the amount of support from overseas Vietnamese will increase in the coming days.
