Compared to the same period in 2024, the number of investors interested in the fields of social infrastructure, trade, services, healthcare and education has increased significantly, reflecting the growing attractiveness of the province. Many prestigious corporations such as Imarket, FPT , Aeon, Sumitomo, Lee & Ko Law Firm (Korea) have directly come to the province to survey the location, study the investment environment and discuss strategic cooperation opportunities.
As of May 15, the province's FDI attraction results (including new and adjusted capital) reached 218.3 million USD, equal to 60.1% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council and 36.4% of the estimate for the scenario of striving for double-digit economic growth, equal to 44.9% of the same period in 2024.
At the same time, it attracted more than VND 4,202 billion in DDI capital, exceeding 40.1% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council, equal to 84.1% of the estimate of the scenario striving for double-digit growth, up 77% over the same period in 2024.
However, in the coming time, attracting investment capital to the province is forecast to face many difficulties when there continues to be fiercer competition from neighboring localities and in the region; the world political and economic situation is complicated.
To achieve the highest goals of investment attraction, contributing to the double-digit growth target in 2025, the province requires departments, branches, and functional units to organize and implement more effectively and substantially the investment promotion programs and plans, and plans to improve the province's competitiveness that have been issued.
At the same time, strengthen administrative reform, especially cutting and reducing administrative procedures; train and foster to create a source of high-quality, capable labor force; ensure adequate supply of electricity and water for production; invest in upgrading and completing traffic infrastructure and logistics infrastructure to reduce production costs of enterprises... create favorable conditions to attract new investors and retain enterprises and investors who have invested in the province, avoiding the risk of FDI capital shifting to countries with lower tax rates.
