Mr. Nui shared about the process of performing the tasks and responsibilities of the team leader and deputy secretary of the TDP.

On the face of the "leader" of TDP 8, a simple smile lit up when he recalled the first days of receiving the assignment: "At that time, having just come from the highlands of A Luoi to live in the city, when assigned the task, I was hesitant and afraid; afraid that the differences in culture, customs, and lifestyle would be "barriers" that would make it difficult for me to get close to the people here. But before retiring, having been a police officer, I thought that as long as I was wholeheartedly devoted and responsible, the people would understand and support me."

So Mr. Nui "went to every alley, knocked on every door" to visit, listen, and grasp each situation, especially the difficult cases in the residential area, to share and accompany the Party cell secretary, the head of the Front work committee and the unions in a timely and effective manner.

A typical case is that of Mr. Lai Van The, a 4/4 disabled veteran who fought in the Cambodian battlefield, who was in a very difficult situation when his house was degraded and damaged. Mr. Nui "ran back and forth" to learn about the policy, then made a profile, completed the procedures to request 20 million VND to support the house repair for Mr. The. The case of Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhu Y's family is a near-poor household, her husband died of illness, her two children are still young, living in a makeshift house. After the survey, Mr. Nui proposed to remove the temporary house for Ms. Y's family this year...

As a team leader, concerned about and taking care of the lives and economic development of local households, Mr. Nui connects and "guarantees" many households in difficult circumstances to access preferential loans. From that support, many households have developed their economies effectively, typically the family of Mr. Nguyen Dinh Cuong. Previously, Mr. Cuong worked as a motorbike taxi driver, his wife pushed agarwood for hire. After receiving a loan, Mr. Cuong and his wife opened an agarwood production facility. During the monitoring process, seeing that Mr. Cuong's household used the loan effectively and paid off the debt well, Mr. Nui encouraged and motivated him, and continued to propose that Mr. Cuong increase the loan amount (after paying off all old debts) and expand the scale of production. Thanks to that, Mr. Cuong's production facility not only brings stable income to the family, but also creates jobs for nearly ten workers in the area.

Mr. Nui's dedication and responsibility have contributed significantly to building trust among the people, along with the Party Committee and local authorities at all levels, so that they agree to implement all policies and strategies, sacrificing personal interests for the greater benefit of the community and society. For example, Mr. Phan Trong Tan's family agreed to donate nearly 100 square meters of land to expand the alley. "For me, people's consensus for the common good is the most precious reward," Mr. Nui confided.

Mr. Le Hong Nui has been commended and rewarded many times by authorities at all levels. He was honored to receive a certificate of merit from the Provincial People's Committee (now Hue City) for his outstanding achievements in building, developing the socio-economy and security and defense of ethnic minority areas in Thua Thien Hue province in the period of 2019 - 2024.
