Although still the largest source of revenue with VND1,771.8 billion, budget revenue from FDI enterprises in the first 4 months of the year only increased by 4.5%, reaching 25.2% of the plan assigned by the Central Government.

Personal income tax also achieved positive results, with VND705.9 billion, up 12.6% over the same period. This not only shows that people's income has improved but also reflects the expansion of the formal labor sector, especially in high value-added industries such as information technology, financial and banking services, private education, etc.

Total revenue from land use fees and land leases reached VND1,313.3 billion, up 69.5% and 52.9% respectively. Notably, revenue from land use rights grants reached VND1,071 billion, accounting for more than 18% of the province's total budget revenue. Revenue from land and water surface leases reached VND242.3 billion, nearly one and a half times higher than the same period last year.

This result is associated with the positive developments of the real estate market in Thai Nguyen City, Pho Yen City and satellite urban areas. A number of key projects with successful land use rights auctions have contributed greatly to the budget revenue results in the first phase of this year.

Budget revenue from the non-state service sector increased by 59.8% - the highest among all revenue groups. This growth clearly reflects the strong recovery trend of small and medium enterprises, individual business households, cooperatives and service sectors.

The largest source of revenue, VND1,771.8 billion, came from FDI enterprises, but only increased by 4.5%, reaching 25.2% of the plan assigned by the Central Government. This figure was lower than expected in the context of some large corporations facing difficulties due to reduced orders, increased logistics costs and the impact of new trade policies of the US, South Korea and the EU.
