On April 8, Deputy Minister of Public Security Pham The Tung and the delegation of the Ministry of Public Security attended the inauguration ceremony, handover and award of funds supported by the Ministry of Public Security to households in the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Hoa An district. Attending were Mr. Trieu Dinh Le, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Steering Committee for the implementation of support for the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province; Mr. Colonel Vu Hong Quang, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department; Mr. Trinh Truong Huy, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, departments, branches of the province and Hoa An district.

The family of To Luc Len, 53 years old, in Long Khang hamlet, Duc Long commune, Hoa An district, with his mother, To Thi Vau, 78 years old, is a poor household with extremely difficult circumstances, and their wooden house with mud walls is at risk of being unsafe. Implementing the policy of supporting the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses of Cao Bang province and the Ministry of Public Security, his family received 60 million VND from the Ministry of Public Security's budget to build a new house. Along with the family's counterpart money and the help of relatives, the provincial police force directly helped with the construction and provided additional funding for completion, to date, the house has been completed with a total usable area of 63m², including 1 living room, 3 bedrooms and 1 storage room. The total cost of building the house is over 100 million VND.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Director of the Provincial Police Department emphasized that with the determination, resoluteness and responsibility of the Police force, and the close leadership and direction of the Party Committee and authorities at all levels, the house was completed in the shortest time, creating conditions for the family to soon have a solid house to stabilize their lives. This is also a model house designed to be widely implemented for households supported by the Ministry of Public Security's funding in the coming time.
At the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Public Security Pham The Tung and delegates and provincial leaders conducted the ribbon-cutting ceremony and handed over the house to the family.
On this occasion, the Ministry of Public Security, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Steering Committee for implementing support for eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Police presented gifts and some valuable items for daily life, helping the family to soon stabilize their lives.
