Deputy Minister Do Thanh Trung attended the Conference to announce the Planning and Investment Promotion of Dak Nong province in 2024

(MPI) - The Conference on Announcing the Planning of Dak Nong Province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 and Promoting Investment in Dak Nong Province in 2024 with the theme "Dak Nong - Creating the future and investment opportunities" is of great significance for all levels, sectors, agencies, units, localities; investors, enterprises inside and outside the province, and all people in the area to know the contents and significance of the planning, in order to reach a high level of consensus on awareness and action to effectively implement the contents of the Provincial Planning. Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Do Thanh Trung attended the Conference.

Also at the conference, Dak Nong provincial leaders awarded investment certificates and signed investment cooperation memorandums with businesses.

According to Decision No. 1757/QD-TTg dated December 31, 2023 of the Prime Minister on the Planning of Dak Nong province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, the goal is to strive by 2030 for Dak Nong to become a fairly developed province in the Central Highlands; the infrastructure system is invested synchronously; it is an important gateway connecting trade between the Central Highlands and the Southeast region; the national bauxite - alumina - aluminum industrial center, the region's renewable energy; developing high-tech agriculture, linking market value chains; developing resort and ecological tourism, promoting advantages in climate, natural landscapes, typical culture and Dak Nong UNESCO Global Geopark. Sustainable development, harmony between economy and culture, society, environment, maintaining political stability, ensuring national defense, security, social order and safety.

Vision to 2050: To become a developed province of the Central Highlands; synchronous and modern infrastructure. Sustainable and comprehensive development of economy , culture, society, environment and ensuring national defense and security; to be the center of the national aluminum and post-aluminum industry; high-tech, high-value agriculture; to be the center of resort and ecological tourism of the region. To become a "Strong Province - Rich People - Beautiful Nature - Compassionate Society".

Speaking at the Conference, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang emphasized the potential, advantages; difficulties, challenges and tasks and solutions that need to be focused on in the coming period, especially in implementing the contents of the Dak Nong province planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050. At the same time, he said that the planning announced today is the orientation for the province to develop in the coming time.

According to Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang, the great value of planning is the orientation and solutions to implement that orientation, so as not to get lost, so that we can achieve the goals as we wish; the synchronization of this planning with the development planning of the country, region and especially the mineral planning, not to mention the lower-level planning. At the same time, we hope that businesses and people understand the planning to work with us to carry out the tasks and wishes that we have agreed upon together and especially work with us to promptly develop the problems and shortcomings in the planning for correction./.
