
At the reception, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, sincerely thanked and appreciated the Chinese Party and Government for sending Minister Bui Kim Giai to attend and sending the Chinese People's Liberation Army to participate in the parade at Vietnam's solemn anniversary, demonstrating China's respect and support for Vietnam's important political event and the high level of Vietnam-China friendship.
On this occasion, on behalf of the Party, Government and people of Vietnam, the Prime Minister respectfully thanks China for its valuable support and assistance in terms of manpower, resources and blood sacrifices that the Party, State and people of China have given to Vietnam in the struggle for national independence and reunification. The Duc Tai School in Guilin and Nanning, Guangxi, China has helped train thousands of excellent students. The Nam Khe Son Hospital in Guilin has received and treated more than 5,400 wounded and sick Vietnamese soldiers.
Currently, in many localities in Vietnam, there are still dozens of martyrs' cemeteries, with more than 1,400 graves of Chinese soldiers and experts who sacrificed their lives while helping Vietnam in the two resistance wars against colonialism and imperialism. China also helped Vietnam build many large projects such as the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, the University of Water Resources, the headquarters of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, and the Viet Tri Bridge.
Introducing to Minister Bui Kim Giai some recent achievements in the relations between the two Parties and the two countries of Vietnam and China, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that he consistently considers the consolidation and development of friendly neighborly relations and comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership with China as an objective requirement, a strategic choice and a top priority in Vietnam's overall foreign policy; emphasizing that China is a country that fully converges important factors such as being both a large neighboring country and a traditional friend; hoping that in the coming time, the two sides will coordinate to well implement the common perception reached between the top leaders of the two Parties and the two countries during the visit to Vietnam of General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also hopes that the Chinese Ministry of Demobilized Military Affairs will increase exchanges and cooperation with Vietnamese agencies to preserve "revolutionary red addresses" and contribute to educating the people of the two countries about the traditional friendship between Vietnam and China.
Agreeing with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's assessment of the years of the two Parties, two countries and two peoples standing side by side, Minister Bui Kim Giai, on behalf of the Party, Government and people of China, congratulated Vietnam on organizing the event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, and at the same time thanked generations of Vietnamese revolutionary leaders for their support and assistance to China's revolutionary struggle.
Minister Bui Kim Giai affirmed that China considers Vietnam a priority direction in its neighborly diplomacy; wishes to work with relevant ministries, branches and localities of Vietnam to effectively implement the common perception of the two countries' senior leaders, enhance people-to-people exchanges, especially cooperation in preserving and managing revolutionary bases, education and promoting the tradition of friendship, contributing to the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership and the Community of Shared Future of strategic significance between the two countries.
