Prime Minister attends WEF Davos Conference, officially visits Hungary and Romania

The 2024 annual World Economic Forum (WEF 2024) will take place from January 15-19, 2024 in the famous Swiss resort town of Davos. This year's WEF is expected to bring together many of the world's leading names to dialogue and discuss cooperation, aiming to solve many urgent global issues, including economic growth, climate and nature action, energy security, technology governance and human development.

According to the announcement, the WEF Davos 2024 Conference has received confirmation of attendance from about 3,000 delegates, including 70 national leaders, 250 ministers, 2,500 leaders of corporations, international organizations and many prestigious experts and scholars.

In addition, WEF Davos 2024 officially chose the theme Rebuilding Trust - "Rebuilding Trust" to focus on discussing and proposing solutions to 4 groups of issues, including: Promoting security and mutually beneficial cooperation in a fragmented world ; Building economic policies suitable for the new era; Long-term strategies for climate, nature and energy; and Artificial Intelligence as a driving force for economic and social development.

Among the topics discussed are expected to attract special attention, including: Security and cooperation in a fractured world; Creating growth and jobs for the new era; Artificial intelligence as a driving force for the economy and society; Long-term strategies on climate, nature and energy.

Currently, WEF has about 700 partners who are leaders of the world's leading corporations in various fields. WEF member partners must pay a membership fee ranging from 60,000 Francs to 600,000 Swiss Francs, depending on different levels.

WEF was one of the first forums to discuss the Fourth Industrial Revolution and is currently implementing a number of specific and substantive initiatives such as the Fourth Industrial Revolution Hub in the United States, India and Japan and the Cybersecurity Hub with the participation of 92 partners.
