Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Vietnamese officials visited and signed the condolence book for Mr. Li Keqiang at the Chinese Embassy.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh led a delegation of the Party, State, Government, National Assembly, and Vietnam Fatherland Front to pay their respects and sign the condolence book over the passing of former Chinese Premier Li Keqiang at the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam on November 1, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs .
At the funeral, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh conveyed condolences from General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, President Vo Van Thuong, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and other Vietnamese leaders to Chinese leaders and the family of Mr. Li Keqiang.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that Vietnam appreciates the enthusiasm, affection and positive contributions of Mr. Li Keqiang to the Vietnam-China relationship.

Chinese Ambassador Hung Ba thanked Vietnamese leaders, affirming that Beijing is ready to further promote the friendship and comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Vietnam and China.
Former Chinese Premier Li Keqiang died of a heart attack in Shanghai on October 27 at the age of 68. China will cremate Li Keqiang's body in Beijing on November 2 and flags will be flown at half-mast at government offices nationwide on that day.
Li Keqiang passed away more than seven months after his term as China's premier ended. He left many strong impressions during his two terms as premier from March 2013 to March 2023, making efforts to reform and lead the world's second largest economy through a difficult period, with increasing public debt, trade tensions with the US and the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. Former premier Li Keqiang also continuously promoted the private economy, foreign investment and simplified administrative procedures.
