
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited and encouraged people of De Gi commune who suffered damage due to storm No. 13.
To proactively respond to storm No. 13, De Gi commune has drastically implemented response measures according to the "4 on-site" motto, mobilizing the participation of the entire political system. After reviewing dangerous areas, the locality promptly evacuated 606 households/2,083 people in dangerous areas (An Quang Dong high tide area, Ganh mountain landslide area, flooded area in Chanh Loi village...) to safe places; fully arranged food, provisions and other necessities for the people.
Although there were no human casualties, storm No. 13 completely collapsed 12 houses, blew off the roofs of 1,157 houses, flooded nearly 500 houses, sank 7 ships, damaged 30 ships, damaged 166 hectares of aquaculture area; medium and low voltage power grid systems collapsed, causing widespread power outages... Total property damage in De Gi commune is estimated at over 231 billion VND.

Immediately after the storm, the local government urgently arranged temporary accommodation, ensured food for households that lost their homes; implemented resettlement plans for households severely affected by high tides in An Quang Dong village. Mobilized maximum forces of the army, militia, police, organizations and businesses to support people in cleaning, roofing, environmental sanitation... Urgently repaired schools, ensured conditions for students to return to school. Reinforced and repaired landslide roads; overcame power outages. Organized visits and supported households whose houses collapsed and households in difficult circumstances in the area.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh acknowledged the spirit of solidarity, unanimity and serious compliance with the policies, leadership and direction of the local Party Committee and government of the people of De Gi commune; expressed joy that no local people were lacking food, clothing or shelter.
The Prime Minister visited, encouraged, and shared the difficulties and losses of the people of De Gi commune; at the same time, requested the locality to urgently implement the Prime Minister's instructions and telegrams, most recently the telegram No. 214/CD-TTg dated November 12, 2025 on urgently collecting statistics, assessing damages and focusing on quickly overcoming the consequences of storms and floods in the Central region, quickly stabilizing people's lives, and restoring production and business.

In particular, localities need to review, make complete and accurate statistics, and make a list of households whose houses have collapsed, drifted away, or are severely damaged beyond repair, poor households, and policy beneficiaries whose houses have been damaged or have had their roofs blown off by storms and floods to focus on immediately implementing State support policies according to current regulations.
Continue to support accommodation, food, and necessities for damaged households that have not been able to restore production and business activities and are at risk of hunger, paying special attention to households whose houses have collapsed or washed away, policy households, and households in difficulty.
Mobilizing social resources, coordinating with the Fatherland Front, businesses, and philanthropists to support people in building and repairing houses.
For households forced to relocate to ensure safety, local authorities must proactively arrange land funds and new, stable and safe housing. In addition, localities need to urgently support capital, interest rates, plant and animal varieties, and production materials to restore agricultural production and soon stabilize people's lives.
