Losing 1-3 to Thailand, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team won the runner-up position of SEA V.League 2024 in the second week of competition. Compared to the match in week 1 a week ago, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team could not cause much trouble for their opponents. The scores of the sets were 22-25, 17-25, 25-19 and 15-25 respectively.

The Vietnamese women's volleyball team won the SEA V.League runner-up position for the second consecutive year in both weeks of competition.

After the first two matches of the second round of SEA V.League 2024, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team had convincing victories against Indonesia and the Philippines. Similarly, Thailand also demonstrated its strength.
