Thua Thien Hue donates breeding animals to people in border areas

On August 26, A Dot Border Guard Station (Border Guard of Thua Thien Hue province) coordinated with local authorities and some benefactors to donate livelihood models and school supplies to people and students in difficult circumstances in the border area.

Donating breeding animals, supporting people in border areas to develop their livelihoods

At the community cultural house of A Tin village, Lam Dot commune, the units presented: 900 geese, 900 chickens, 50 pigs worth nearly 100 million VND to create a livelihood model for 85 households with especially difficult circumstances in the two border communes of Dong Son and Lam Dot (A Luoi district).

In addition, the units also presented 210 gifts worth nearly 80 million VND including: Textbooks, notebooks, pens, rulers... to disadvantaged students studying at schools in the two communes mentioned above.

Major Vo Xuan Minh, Deputy Political Commissar of A Dot Border Guard Station, said that the above mentioned breeds and gifts will promptly support families with livelihood models to develop their economies; and encourage students with difficult circumstances to excel in their studies before the new school year.
