
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son warmly welcomed Minister Vandrack Jaenschke, representing the Government and people of Nicaragua, to attend this event of great historical significance for the Vietnamese people; emphasizing that Vietnam and Nicaragua, although geographically distant, have a traditional relationship and good solidarity. The Communist Party of Vietnam and the Sandino National Liberation Front (FSLN), as well as the Governments and peoples of the two countries, have always actively supported and assisted each other in the past cause of national liberation, as well as in the current cause of national construction.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son congratulated the important achievements that the Government and people of Nicaragua have achieved in recent times; highly appreciated the correct policies of the Government and the FSLN Party, headed by President Daniel Ortega and Vice President Rosario Murillo, contributing to stabilizing the country's situation, restoring socio -economic development, ensuring social security, strengthening social programs, eliminating poverty, consolidating infrastructure, etc. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son expressed his belief that under the leadership of the Government and the FSLN Party, the people of Nicaragua will continue to achieve many new achievements.
For his part, Nicaraguan Foreign Minister Vandrack Jaenschke expressed his special honor to lead the Nicaraguan Government delegation to attend the ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day of Vietnam and was deeply impressed by Vietnam's great achievements in nearly 40 years of renovation under the wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam; emphasized the similarity in the aspirations for independence, freedom and social progress between the people of the two countries as the foundation to unite the two nations, promote the friendly, close and multi-faceted cooperation between Nicaragua and Vietnam, and expressed his gratitude to the Party, State and people of Vietnam for always showing solidarity and great support for the Sandino revolution and the people of Nicaragua.
Nicaraguan Foreign Minister Vandrack Jaenschke emphasized that Nicaragua's senior leaders especially admire and respect President Ho Chi Minh, the leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam in the struggle for national independence, as well as in the renovation process; consider Vietnam and its great achievements in the past national liberation cause and the current renovation process as a shining example and source of inspiration for the Government, the FSLN Party and the people of Nicaragua.
Regarding bilateral relations, the two Ministers expressed their delight that political, economic and trade relations between the two countries have continued to be strengthened in recent times; agreed that both sides still have much room to promote trade turnover growth and cooperation in science and technology, culture, education, construction, and climate change response... The two leaders agreed to actively coordinate and implement measures to promote and improve the effectiveness of cooperation between the two countries in the coming time, especially increasing the exchange of delegations at all levels; effectively maintaining the political consultation mechanism between the two Foreign Ministries; continuing to perfect the legal framework to create a framework and expand cooperation in areas of strength and that can complement each other; at the same time, continue to closely coordinate at international forums and organizations; support and assist each other to strengthen relations in each region.
In addition, the two sides agreed to enhance people-to-people exchanges and cooperation in areas of mutual strength and interest such as agriculture, digital transformation, telecommunications, infrastructure, etc., thereby expanding mutual understanding, creating a premise for maintaining and further promoting the traditional friendly cooperation between Vietnam and Nicaragua.
On this occasion, Nicaraguan Foreign Minister Vandrack Jaenschke thanked Vietnam for its warm and cordial reception and invited Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son to visit Nicaragua at a mutually convenient time; Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son sincerely thanked the invitation and happily accepted.
*On the same day, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son received Algerian Minister of Veterans and Meritorious People Laid Rebiga on the occasion of attending the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification of Vietnam.

At the reception, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son respectfully thanked the Minister and the Algerian delegation for attending the ceremony, emphasizing that Vietnam always appreciates the solidarity and valuable support that the Algerian Government and people have given Vietnam during the past years of fighting for national independence as well as in the current period of national construction and development.
Expressing his honor and joy to represent the Algerian Government in attending Vietnam's important event, Minister of Veterans and Meritorious People Laid Rebiga affirmed that the struggle of the Vietnamese people is a source of inspiration for the peoples of Africa, including Algeria, to rise up for national independence; emphasizing that Algeria always values the solidarity and friendship between the two peoples.
Minister Laid Rebiga expressed his impression of Vietnam's transformation and strong development, especially in economy and trade, affirming that he will do his best to promote the bilateral relations between Vietnam and Algeria to develop further in all aspects. The Minister also suggested that the Vietnam - Algeria Intergovernmental Committee meet soon to discuss specific measures to promote the relationship between the two countries.
In order to further consolidate and promote the traditional and friendly relations between the two countries, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son suggested that the two sides continue to prioritize promoting delegation exchanges at all levels, especially high-level delegations, and strengthen close coordination and mutual support at multilateral forums for the goal of peace and development for each country, the region and the world.
The Deputy Prime Minister also suggested that the two sides prioritize cooperation in energy, agriculture and the development of Vietnam's Halal industry. On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son asked the Algerian Government to create favorable conditions for Vietnamese enterprises to invest in Algeria, including continuing to support the Bir Seba oil and gas cooperation project so that the project can be continuously expanded, becoming a symbol of solidarity, friendship and effective economic cooperation between the two countries.
The two sides agreed to enhance people-to-people and cultural exchange activities, and educate the younger generations of the two countries about the traditions and history of the two peoples' resilient struggle, thereby continuing to inherit and promote the precious heritage in the bilateral relationship that has been constantly preserved and cultivated by generations of leaders.
