Three thermal power plants compete at the 2nd Open Competition for Excellent Safety and Hygiene Students

The 2nd Open Competition for Excellent Safety and Hygiene Students recently took place in My Loc Commune, Thai Thuy District, attracting 6 teams from three thermal power plants: Thai Binh Thermal Power Company, Thai Binh 2 Thermal Power Plant and Song Hau 1 Thermal Power Plant.

The organizing committee awarded the first prize to the Thai Binh Thermal Power Plant team.

The teams went through three rounds: a greeting to introduce the unit, answering questions about occupational safety and hygiene knowledge, and performing a skit to handle situations. The rounds were all designed to be lively, closely related to daily work at the factory, creating opportunities for workers to demonstrate their knowledge, practical skills, and ability to coordinate in a team in a specific production environment. The contest was an opportunity for workers to demonstrate their abilities and exchange experiences in ensuring occupational safety and hygiene, while responding to Workers' Month with the theme "Strengthening assessment, identifying risks and proactively implementing safety measures".

As a result, the Thai Binh Thermal Power Plant team (Thai Binh Thermal Power Company) won the First Prize. The Second Prize went to the Operation Workshop team – Thai Binh 2 Thermal Power Plant. The remaining four teams received the Encouragement Prize. The competition left a deep impression thanks to the spirit of solidarity, careful preparation and a clear message about building a safe, efficient and sustainable working environment in the thermal power industry.
