Three student representatives participated in the workshop: Tran Thuan Thien (Class 24AV0101), Tran Hoang Kieu Vy, and Le Phuong Thao (Class 242101AV001). This clearly demonstrates the close connection between scientific research activities and student training in a practical, integrated manner, keeping pace with the general trends of the current education program.
"Participating in a national-level scientific research project for the first time was both stressful and exciting. I learned how to search for materials, analyze data, and especially how to work effectively in a team. Thanks to the dedicated guidance of the lecturers, I feel more confident. This will be a great stepping stone for me to continue pursuing my research career in the future," shared Tran Hoang Kieu Vy.
Students from the university participated in the National Scientific Conference - NSC 2025 “New Trends in Foreign Language Teaching and Learning”, organized by Binh Duong University (main campus).
Alongside her research activities, Ms. Tran Nguyet Thai Chau has also recently launched the book "Study Skills," in which she served as the chief editor. This document will be officially used as the textbook for the course of the same name for first-year English Language students. The book provides foundational knowledge and essential skills for active learning, such as setting goals, planning studies, developing critical thinking, techniques for reading and understanding English materials, effective note-taking, group study, and applying technology to learning. This is not only a learning resource but also a guide to help students overcome common difficulties in learning a foreign language.
With their positive contributions to research, teaching, and curriculum development, the lecturers and students of the English Language major have affirmed their pioneering role in innovating training methods and improving academic quality. A serious academic spirit and proactive scientific research will continue to be a solid foundation for integration and development.
