The conference gathered researchers, lecturers and experts in the field of foreign language teaching, and was a forum for sharing solutions and innovative trends in current teaching. At the conference, lecturers and students majoring in English at the Branch participated in writing papers and many topics were selected to be published in the Conference Proceedings, including 2 topics published with the active contributions of students, and were honored to be granted a certificate of scientific research work.

The first topic: “Applying Technology to Young Learners English Communication Teaching: A Case Study of Primary Schools in Ca Mau City” was instructed by MSc. Tran Nguyet Thai Chau, an English Language lecturer in the Professional Group, along with two students Tran Thuan Thien (Class 24AV0101) and Huynh Thuy Vy (Class 24AV0101), focusing on researching the application of technology in teaching English communication for primary school students in Ca Mau City.

The second topic: “The Current States and Potential Solutions of English Language Major Students for Active Listening Skills” guided by MSc. Le Ngoc Tran, lecturer and staff of the Center for Foreign Languages ​​and Information Technology, and 2 students Tran Hoang Kieu Vy and Le Phuong Thao (Class 242101AV001), focuses on assessing the current situation and potential solutions for active listening skills of English major students.

The three student representatives attending the workshop were: Tran Thuan Thien (Class 24AV0101), Tran Hoang Kieu Vy and Le Phuong Thao (Class 242101AV001). This is a clear demonstration of the connection between scientific research activities and student training in a practical, integrated direction, keeping up with the general trend of the currenteducational program.

"Participating in a national scientific research project for the first time was both a stressful and exciting experience. I learned how to search for documents, analyze data, and especially work effectively in groups. Thanks to the dedicated guidance of the lecturers, I feel more confident. This will be a big stepping stone for me to continue pursuing my research path in the future," Tran Hoang Kieu Vy shared.

Students of the school participated in the National Scientific Conference - NSC 2025 "New trends in teaching and learning foreign languages", organized by Binh Duong University (main campus).

Along with research activities, MSc. Tran Nguyet Thai Chau has also just released the book "Study Skills" as the editor-in-chief. This is the document that will be officially used as the textbook for the subject of the same name for first-year students majoring in English Language. The book provides basic knowledge and essential skills in active learning, such as setting goals, making study plans, practicing critical thinking, reading comprehension techniques in English documents, taking effective notes, studying in groups and applying technology to learning. This is not only a study document but also a compass to help students overcome common difficulties in the process of learning a foreign language.

With their active contributions in research, teaching and curriculum development, lecturers and students of English Language have affirmed their pioneering role in innovating training methods and improving academic quality.
