Promoting the enforcement of the Law on Environmental Protection

The conference was attended by more than 100 delegates representing businesses, production and service establishments in the province.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Lang Son Trieu Duc Minh emphasized that in the context of increasingly complex climate change and environmental pollution becoming a global challenge, strict implementation of legal regulations on environmental protection is vital to the sustainable development of Lang Son province as well as the whole country.

The Law on Environmental Protection 2020, together with guiding Decrees and Circulars, has created a comprehensive and synchronous legal corridor, helping to solve urgent problems from waste management, air pollution control, to protecting environmental components such as land, water, air, etc.

At the conference, delegates were introduced and discussed many important contents related to the implementation of environmental procedures such as: environmental impact assessment, environmental licenses, waste management as well as legal regulations related to production, business and service activities.

In addition, questions and difficulties of businesses and people were also answered by representatives of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Lang Son, contributing to removing obstacles in the practical implementation process.

The conference aims to raise awareness and responsibility of the whole society, especially the business community - key subjects in complying with laws on environmental protection.

Leaders of Lang Son Department of Agriculture and Environment hope that after the training, each delegate will become an active propagandist, spreading the message of environmental protection to the community.
