National Agricultural Extension Center deploys guidelines for post-storm and flood production recovery in Lang Son province

On October 15, 2025, at Bai Danh village, Cai Kinh commune, Lang Son province, the National Agricultural Extension Center coordinated with the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Lang Son province to organize a working group to communicate and provide direct guidance on technical measures to restore production in the Na area affected by storms and floods.

Attending the program, on the Central side were leaders of the National Agricultural Extension Center and specialized departments, experts from the Fruit and Vegetable Research Institute under the Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Sciences. On the Lang Son province side, there were comrade Dinh Thi Thu, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, leaders of the People's Committee of Cai Kinh commune, the Provincial Agricultural Extension Center, more than 50 members of the Cooperative Group and representatives of custard apple farmers in Bai Danh village, Cai Kinh commune. The event was recorded by central and local news agencies and newspapers.

During the series of activities, agricultural extension experts and experts from the Fruit and Vegetable Research Institute under the Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Sciences provided visual guidance to farmers on technical measures to restore flooded custard apple trees (pruning, soil disinfection, fertilization, disease prevention, etc.).

On this occasion, the National Agricultural Extension Center provided in-kind support including 5 tons of organic microbial fertilizers, helping people in custard apple growing areas affected by storms and floods to restore production and stabilize their lives.

Previously, on the afternoon of October 14, experts from the National Agricultural Extension Center guided farmers in Na Dau village, Huu Lung commune on a number of technical measures to restore production in aquaculture, such as: Reinforcing pond banks; disinfecting the pond system; using microbial products to treat the aquaculture water environment; and supporting 100 liters of EM products to treat the pond environment./.

The National Agricultural Extension Center and the Agricultural Extension Center of Lang Son province presented microbiological products to the people of Na Dau village, Huu Lung commune to restore production in aquaculture.
