Implement urgent solutions to ensure electrical safety during storms

According to Phu Yen Electricity Company, the province's power grid is currently facing two main risks that can cause incidents and electrical insecurity during storms: trees inside and outside the power line corridor falling onto the power line and the electrical system after the customer's meter does not meet safety standards.

To minimize risks and ensure the goal of safe and stable electricity supply, tree management units urgently carry out pruning of trees within the grid safety corridor, especially prioritizing important load areas such as administrative centers, hospitals, inner-city areas and inner-city areas. Localities should increase mobilization and support the Electricity sector in clearing tall trees outside the corridor that are at risk of affecting power lines; at the same time, develop plans to mobilize local forces to coordinate in clearing the scene after natural disasters, helping to restore power supply soon. Localities need to step up propaganda on mass media to raise people's awareness, proactively check, repair and reinforce the electrical system in their homes, ensuring absolute electrical safety before, during and after storms.
