(Baothanhhoa.vn) - In order to ensure electricity supply during peak months of 2025 and the coming time; at the same time, promptly meet the electricity demand in the coming time, ensuring no power shortage in the province, the Provincial People's Committee has just issued a document on continuing to implement solutions to ensure electricity supply during peak months of 2025.

Specifically, the Provincial People's Committee requests Directors of departments, Heads of provincial-level agencies, branches and sectors; Chairmen of People's Committees of districts, towns and cities (Chairmen of People's Committees at commune level after the end of district-level administrative units from July 1, 2025), Directors of relevant enterprises and organizations to focus on seriously and fully implementing the directions of the Prime Minister in Official Dispatch No. 81/CD-TTg dated June 3, 2025, of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Official Dispatch No. 4010/CD-BCT dated June 3, 2025; at the same time, continue to implement the direction of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in Official Dispatch No. 7078/UBND-CNXDKH dated May 19, 2025 on focusing on implementing the Prime Minister's Official Dispatch on drastic, synchronous and effective implementation of solutions to ensure electricity supply during peak periods in 2025 and the following years; Strengthen the propaganda work to effectively save electricity in the area, especially in public lighting, lighting for advertising purposes, outdoor decoration. Apply optimal management solutions, replace lighting with energy-saving lamps, apply automatic control technology, promote the implementation of solar energy solutions in public lighting, lighting for advertising purposes, outdoor decoration; Actively and proactively handle according to authority the difficulties and problems arising within the scope of management of the unit during the implementation of electricity projects, proactively remove difficulties, speed up the progress of electricity projects.

The Departments of Finance, Industry and Trade, Construction, Agriculture and Environment; Nghi Son Economic Zone Management Board and industrial parks, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities (Commune-level People's Committees after the end of district-level administrative units from July 1, 2025) continue to effectively implement the direction of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in Official Dispatch No. 6915/UBND-CNXDKH dated May 16, 2025 on implementing Decision No. 768/QD-TTg dated April 15, 2025 of the Prime Minister on approving the Adjustment of Power Planning VIII; Proactively develop and advise the Provincial People's Committee to direct the implementation of programs to encourage the development of local power sources such as wind and solar power, self-produced and self-consumed solar power according to the provisions of the Government's Decrees: No. 57/2025/ND-CP dated March 3, 2025 stipulating the mechanism for direct electricity purchase and sale between renewable energy power generation units and large electricity users and Decree No. 58/2025/ND-CP dated March 3, 2025 detailing a number of articles of the Electricity Law on the development of renewable energy and new energy power; Proactively have solutions to attract investment, speed up the appraisal of investment policies for power projects and works, especially large-scale power projects and transmission projects in the management area approved in the list in the Adjustment of Power Planning VIII and the Implementation Plan for Adjustment of Power Planning VIII.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Provincial Newspaper and Radio and Television continue to coordinate with Thanh Hoa Electricity Company to promote the State's policy on implementing solutions for electricity supply, electricity saving, and economical and efficient use of electricity, especially during peak months of 2025.

Thanh Hoa Electricity Company continues to effectively implement the direction of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in Official Dispatch No. 7078/UBND-CNXDKH dated May 19, 2025 on focusing on drastic, synchronous and effective implementation of solutions to ensure electricity supply during peak periods in 2025 and the following years.

Develop a specific plan, work with major customers to have a plan to shift/adjust the load to cope with extreme situations, lack of peak capacity during the peak dry season; seriously implement the power supply plan when there is a shortage of power in 2025 approved by the Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 839/QD-UBND dated March 19, 2025; seriously implement the regulations on stopping the reduction of power supply in accordance with the provisions of Circular No. 04/2025/TT-BCT dated February 1, 2025 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to notify customers according to regulations; Continue to accelerate the investment progress for projects invested by the Company; report to the Northern Power Corporation to direct the Project Management Boards to accelerate the progress of power line and 110kV substation projects in the province.

Investors of power plants in the province continue to resolutely and effectively implement the direction of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in Official Dispatch No. 7078/UBND-CNXDKH dated May 19, 2025 on focusing on resolutely, synchronously and effectively implementing solutions to ensure electricity supply during peak periods in 2025 and the following years; Urgently and proactively overcome technical problems of generators (if any) to ensure stable operation, comply with the dispatch orders of the electricity industry to meet the needs of the electricity system; Strengthen the monitoring and supervision of the plant's equipment operation status, proactively conduct periodic inspections, promptly detect and thoroughly correct defects, ensure adequate spare parts to improve reliability, enhance operational efficiency and power generation capacity of the units, absolutely ensure that no incidents occur due to subjective causes of the unit; Hydropower plants need to proactively and regularly update and closely assess the actual hydrological situation; strengthen close coordination and regular information exchange with local authorities and relevant state management agencies to carry out flexible and effective reservoir operations, ensuring a harmonious balance between water use needs for daily life, agricultural production and electricity production, especially during the peak dry season and heat waves; Thermal power plant owners need to proactively and effectively coordinate with primary fuel suppliers to develop and implement plans to arrange a stable and continuous fuel supply throughout the plant's operation; regularly review, update and accurately calculate the demand for primary fuel, ensuring that the fuel source is always sufficient and stable, meeting the plant's power production and operation requirements.

Requesting provincial departments, branches, sectors, units; People's Committees of districts, towns, cities (Commune-level People's Committees after the end of district-level administrative units from July 1, 2025), Thanh Hoa Electricity Company to seriously organize and implement the above contents and deploy to affiliated units, organizations, individuals, and enterprises in the management area; promptly report to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on any problems, arising issues, or beyond authority.
