In the 42.195km event of the 2023 Hau Giang Province "Mekong Delta Marathon" International Marathon, the Organizing Committee will award male and female athletes who finish from first to tenth, every year only awards are given to the first three finishers. In addition, male and female athletes will receive an additional trophy and 50 million VND/person if they set a new record. Athlete Hoang Thi Ngoc Hoa currently holds the record for the 42km distance for women with a time of 3 hours 11 minutes 38 seconds; The record of 2 hours 37 minutes 42 seconds for the men's 42km distance achieved by athlete Bui The Anh in 2020 has not been broken yet. The organizing committee will also award first, second and third prizes to outstanding male and female athletes in the distances of 5km, 10km, 21.0975km, 800m and 2.4km.

For athletes who are officials, civil servants, and employees of provincial, district, town, and city agencies, departments, and organizations in Hau Giang, when achieving first, second, and third place in all four male and female distances, they will receive a bonus equal to 50% of the official prize value.
