VELA brand - Spreading love in the Western region of Nghe An

The charity trip of the VELA bread brand to the flooded areas of Western Nghe An took place from July 26 to 31, with the participation of VELA members and distributor partners. The journey passed through the localities most affected by the floods such as Tuong Duong and My Ly communes (Nghe An).

As soon as information was received about the situation after the historic flood in the mountainous region of Nghe An , thousands of houses were submerged, all property was swept away by floodwaters, people were left homeless, roads were cut off in many isolated areas...

Without waiting for a call, VELA quickly planned a relief trip. In just a few short days, the entire staff was involved in preparing, packaging and transporting more than 60 boxes of fresh bread, equivalent to thousands of loaves, to deliver directly to people in the affected areas.

In Tuong Duong and My Ly communes, the team closely coordinated with the local Fatherland Front and Youth Union to ensure that the aid reached the right place, the right people, safely and promptly. In particular, there were roads that cars could not access due to landslides and slippery conditions, so the team had to transport it by motorbike or even walk through the forest.

Despite the difficulties, the spirit of solidarity and the smooth coordination between businesses and local authorities helped the journey to be safe and effective. Hundreds of people in isolated areas promptly received bread - a small gift but containing great affection.

In the midst of the flood, the pouring rain, the slippery and muddy roads, the bread with the familiar slogan "VELA Bread - Eat and love it" given with all their heart has a very different meaning - they are a symbol of sharing, of humanity, of people turning to each other in times of trouble.

This support activity for the people of Western Nghe An is not the first time VELA has accompanied people in natural disasters. Previously, in 2024, when Typhoon Yagi caused serious damage in the northern provinces, the VELA team also quickly set out to provide relief, carrying hundreds of boxes of fresh bread through the wind and rain to support people in the flooded areas.

Established in 2009, VELA is a brand that researches, produces and directly distributes food with advanced technology in Vietnam.

With the mission of providing high quality food solutions to Vietnamese consumers, VELA always strives to research, innovate and continuously develop to create quality, nutritious products to meet consumer needs.

For VELA, a sustainable brand is not only built from quality products but also from trust and commitment to the community. Therefore, in addition to business activities, VELA always proactively participates in charity programs, aiming at places with many difficulties.
