Traders close early, kumquat capital of Central region is expecting a bumper Tet crop

VTC NewsVTC News11/11/2023

"Normally, every year, traders do not come to the village until the 10th lunar month to make a deposit, but this year they came early and made a deposit quickly. This kumquat crop, my family plans to sell 400 kumquat bonsai pots, half of which are medium-sized kumquats and the other half are large kumquats. On average, a large kumquat pot will cost 2 million VND, a beautiful bonsai tree will cost 5 million, or even more than ten million VND; and a medium kumquat pot will cost between 1.2 and 1.5 million VND. If the weather from now until the end of the year is favorable like the past few months, I am confident that my kumquat garden will achieve 100% productivity. After deducting the cost of fertilizer and pesticides, my family will earn a profit of about 200 million VND," Mr. Do happily said.
