Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee works with Standing Committee of Bac Ai District Party Committee

On March 6, comrade Nguyen Duc Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired an online meeting between the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Bac Ai District Party Committee. Attending were comrades: Pham Van Hau, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of relevant departments and branches.

In carrying out the tasks of 2023, Bac Ai District Party Committee has closely followed the leadership and direction of all levels, implemented drastically, flexibly, effectively, closely following the situation, with focus and key points; together with the efforts of the entire political system and the people, many results have been achieved in all fields, with 23/25 targets achieved and exceeded compared to the resolution. The growth rate reached 11.54%, the total production value reached 1,931.7 billion VND, the total planting area reached 13,263.8 hectares, reaching 115.3%, the livestock herd was 93,290, reaching 101.4%; many bright spots appeared in economic production such as: growing rice, grapefruit, melon, raising livestock, poultry...; continuing to build and maintain OCOP products in the area, affirming the strengths of the locality; forest management and protection work was drastically implemented; Budget revenue exceeded the target by 145.1%; the poverty rate decreased by 6.36% to 127.2%. National target programs and special policies and mechanisms for Bac Ai district were implemented with initial effectiveness. The project to build a cultural space for the Raglai people continued to receive attention, shape and develop in conjunction with the development of community and ecological tourism.

Implementing the Resolution of the 14th District Party Congress, term 2020-2025, the work of Party building and political system building has made much progress; the management and operation capacity of authorities at all levels has been enhanced; the role of the front, unions and mass organizations has been promoted, the great national unity bloc has been strengthened and consolidated. Some Resolutions and action programs have initially brought about practical results, such as: Creating fields and concentrated specialized production areas associated with trademark registration for specific products. The appearance of the mountainous district building Raglai cultural space, developing community tourism in Phuoc Binh commune has initially taken shape and flourished; in the cultural and social fields, many positive changes have also been achieved, effectively implementing social security policies.

At the meeting, Bac Ai district proposed and recommended to the province a number of contents such as: Requesting the Provincial People's Committee to direct the speed up of approving the planning of Song Cai Lake area, as a basis for management and calling for investment attraction; giving opinions to hand over the area of land for construction materials belonging to the Song Cai Lake construction project for local management and use. Proposing the policy of supporting 100% of counterpart capital to implement National Target Programs (MTQG) in the district. Supporting specific funding for the health sector to reduce difficulties, ensuring additional specific funding sources related to medical examination and treatment. Having policies to support safe communes, safe revolutionary zones; supporting specific spending for national defense and security tasks in the district, paying attention to supporting the preservation of the two historical relics of Hang X93 and Hang 403, which were revolutionary bases during the resistance war against the US, and speeding up the restoration and embellishment of Pinang Tac rock traps.

Speaking at the working session, Comrade Nguyen Duc Thanh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, acknowledged the efforts that Bac Ai has achieved in the face of many difficulties and challenges with a spirit of determination, initiative and high solidarity; besides, he requested the Standing Committee of Bac Ai District Party Committee to pay attention to overcoming the existing shortcomings, limitations, difficulties and potential challenges to maintain economic growth rate, transform agricultural structure, improve production level, develop sustainable agricultural-forestry economy, new rural development goals and poverty reduction. Promote the effectiveness of investment in National Target Programs, specific mechanisms, create positive changes, ensure strictness, compliance with regulations and avoid duplication. Do a good job of managing forest resources, land and development planning, identifying local strengths to promote and create breakthroughs in the coming time. The district needs to study the direction of promoting the development of community ecotourism models; Promote transport infrastructure, development plans, energy projects, projects, and national target programs to create new growth values. In the work of building the Party and the political system, continue to educate political and ideological ideas to create spread and consensus among cadres and people on poverty reduction awareness. Do a good job of preparing for the Congress, bringing the resolution into life; have a direction for personnel planning, training, arrangement, ensuring the goals of ethnic minority cadre resources. Promote the spirit of democracy, enhance the fighting capacity of the Party; focus on building the great national unity bloc, mobilizing people to actively develop the socio-economy, and sustainably reduce poverty. Proposals and proposals of the district, requesting all levels and sectors to have support directions in accordance with regulations. Proactively review policies, consider supporting counterpart funds to implement the National Target Program in accordance with regulations. Pay attention to supporting planning for community eco-tourism development, speeding up the implementation of historical relic construction projects; Implement policies for safe zones according to regulations. Have investment directions to expand routes proposed by localities in accordance with the provincial planning.
