In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet and the delegation expressed their infinite gratitude for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, the genius leader of our Party and people, who founded and trained the heroic Vietnam People's Army, an outstanding activist of the international communist and workers' movement. He devoted and sacrificed his whole life to the cause of national liberation, fighting for peace and happiness of the Vietnamese people and people around the world.
Before his spirit, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet and the delegates vowed to be absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the people, to unite as one, to promote the tradition of Uncle Ho's soldiers, to be determined to build a revolutionary, disciplined, elite and modern army, ready to receive and successfully complete all assigned tasks, to firmly protect the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam.
