On September 2, the Office of the People's Committee of Vinh Phuc province informed that departments and branches are considering planning and finding a location to build a 1,000 billion VND hospital as proposed by Hoan My Medical Joint Stock Company.
Previously, at the meeting between Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong and Hoan My Medical Joint Stock Company on August 30, the company representative wished to invest in building a hospital project to address the need for medical examination and treatment, provide high-quality medical services and reduce the load at public hospitals.
The proposed location for construction is opposite Vinh Phuc Provincial General Hospital, fronting Ba Trieu Street, adjacent to Duong Tinh and Tue Tinh Streets, Lien Bao Ward, Vinh Yen City.
The expected area is 20,000m2, with a scale of 200 - 300 hospital beds, and a total investment of about 1,000 billion VND.
According to research, Hoan My Medical Joint Stock Company has the investment participation of businessman Richard Chandler - billionaire ranked 15th in the list of 50 richest billionaires in Singapore according to Forbes.
Over the years, Hoan My Medical Joint Stock Company has developed a private medical system through strengthening professional cooperation with medical examination and treatment units in Singapore, Malaysia, UK, USA, Australia, etc.
Mr. Tran Duy Dong said that Vinh Phuc always supports and prioritizes attracting projects to build hospitals and medical centers to provide health care services and medical examination and treatment for local people. Especially non-public hospitals and medical centers that invest in specialized medical examination and treatment and training of human resources in the health sector.
The Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee requested departments and branches to carefully research to find a suitable location, build on a large area with enough space... so that the project can be implemented in accordance with the province's planning and in accordance with the law.
