Records on November 14 show that the tarps were spread out, surrounded by rocks, encroaching deep into the traffic lane while this is a route with a very large volume of vehicles and tourists.

Drying rice on the road causes vehicles to constantly slow down and swerve to avoid it, posing a potential risk of collision, especially during peak tourist season.

Yen Minh commune authorities said they were aware of this situation and were coordinating with functional forces to increase inspections, remind households, and request the removal of tarps used to dry agricultural products to ensure traffic safety on key national highways.
