Vietnam-USA Society English (VUS) recruits teachers from countries where English is the main language, with degrees, certificates, etc. to ensure training quality.
To build prestige andeducational quality, foreign teachers here must fully meet the strict regulations of the Ministry of Labor on background, visa, health certificate, degrees...; at the same time, comply with VUS's own professional criteria.
In particular, the system prioritizes recruiting teachers from countries where English is the main language, with a bachelor's degree and an international standard English teaching certificate (TESOL, CELTA or TEFL).

After passing the recruitment round, teachers must participate in an initial training process with more than 15 topics on curriculum and teaching skills. In addition, during their time working at VUS, teachers must regularly participate in training sessions with more than 255 different topics. This process is to meet new requirements in teaching.
The system also coordinates with leading speakers from major publishers around the world in training sessions. In addition, English teachers must have the skills to grasp the psychology of children and adolescents to closely accompany students and apply teaching methods appropriate to each age group.

At the same time, to maintain quality throughout the working process, teachers need to continuously improve from professional skills to mental health care activities. Therefore, every year, VUS organizes the free VUS TESOL conference. Through this, teachers can improve their professional qualifications and update modern educational trends; exchange and expand their network in the English teacher community.
VUS also cooperated with Oxford University Press (OUP) to organize the Oxford Teacher's Academy (OTA) course to provide intensive training for teachers. The program has many different topics such as "New methods in teaching English to children" (2014), "Teaching English to Adult Learners" (2017) or "Mentoring skills" - supporting the development of leadership activities.

In addition, VUS regularly surveys the opinions of students and parents about teachers in general, including foreign teachers through discussions. Thanks to these efforts, the unit has achieved many achievements such as helping more than 183,000 students achieve international Cambridge and IELTS certificates; receiving international teaching quality certification from NEAS for 6 consecutive years; being honored in both categories "Best Workplace in Asia 2023" and "Company with Excellent Employee Care" by HR Asia magazine.
