Found the body of a victim of a factory fire in Ho Chi Minh City

On the afternoon of September 16, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force, Ho Chi Minh City Police found a body in a factory fire that occurred in Thuan Giao Ward at noon the same day. The forces continued to completely extinguish the fire and search for those still trapped.

Previously, at 10:40 a.m. the same day, the authorities received a fire alarm at a facility on Thuan Giao 25 ​​Street, Thuan Giao Ward. This facility rented a space to do business in mixing, decanting, packaging, and selling all kinds of paint, with a total area of ​​about 1,000 square meters, steel frame structure, corrugated iron roof, and brick walls.

Immediately after receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police mobilized dozens of fire trucks, water tankers, and dozens of officers and soldiers, deployed in 4 directions, sprayed foam to control the fire, and prevented it from spreading to neighboring residential areas and motels.

According to initial information, the fire burned down the entire factory area of ​​about 1,000 square meters, killing one person and injuring two others.

Local authorities, Thuan Giao Ward Police, security and medical forces were mobilized to coordinate in maintaining order, traffic flow, evacuating people and keeping ambulances on standby at the scene.

The cause of the fire is being investigated and verified by the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department in coordination with relevant agencies. Work to repair, estimate damage and handle the incident is underway.
